Introduction

 You will be paired up with a partner for this assignment. You will select a poem and create a PowerPoint presentation for an upcoming Poetry Slam! You will interpret our poem based on the following prompts and questions. You will demonstrate your understanding of the poem by creating a slideshow presentation to show during an upcoming Poetry slam. You will locate clipart images, photos, and sound to add to your presentation.

Instructions

1. Select a poem from the provided list.

2. Open PowerPoint in a separate window.

3. Click through the following pages and answer the questions and statements about your poem.

4. Use the web sites for PowerPoint templates, clipart, and free sound clips on the last page to add files to your presentation.

5. Include your names and poem on your first PowerPoint slide.

6. Each idea of your poem should be on a separate slide.

7. Remember to save all PowerPoint files into one folder (this includes any files added to the PowerPoint such as sound clips and images).
