Resolving Login Problems (all users)

Is the system available?
Blackboard or the systems it relies on may be temporarily unavailable. For scheduled downtimes and outages see "Electronic Campus Bugs and Fixes" at online.fsu.edu/FYI.

Technical Note: ACNS maintains a computer systems status page. If you see any red lights there in the rows for "bbdb", "campus", "LDAP1", or "LDAP2", it will not be possible to log on to Blackboard.

Are you using the right login ID (username)?
Visitors may click the Preview button for limited access to Blackboard. Regular access requires a login ID. Your login ID or username is the part of your garnet or mailer address to the left of the @ symbol. If you have both garnet and mailer accounts, use the login ID from your garnet account. (If you have neither, visit the Computer Account Registration System to see about obtaining one.)

Did you forget your login ID or password?
Visit password.fsu.edu for information on changing your password and locating forgotten usernames.
